After a day on the slopes, one wonders what to do for the rest of the night. Well, not everything to utilize their energy, leaving tracks in time to arrive in a short nap - you need all the energy you can muster for the Aspen nightlife. No matter how much you get in the skiing or how many of the races that has dominated, it has not really experienced Aspen until venture out at night.
Aspen has three basic areas: downtown, the end of the West, East and order. The city is very small, considering the number of business people here every season - but surprisingly, everyone and everything just fits. The city is actually small enough to leave your car parked at your hotel or hostel and walk anywhere you want to go. In fact, this is recommended.
Not everyone pays into account this advice, what you can do about driving and parking very difficult. You can also take a shuttle service of a hill to another, take the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority bus, or go to the Rubey Park Transit Center to obtain a travel anywhere in the valley.
Do not worry about missing. The city is well established. As of the end of the West, is a quiet Victorian. While this is a residential neighborhood, where the local population, you will also find many hotels and condominiums in the far west, particularly on Main Street. You will also find the Aspen Meadows Hotel and Conference Center. This is an area of 40 acres, where you will also find the Aspen Institute, the Music Store, Harris Concert Hall, Paepcke Auditorium, the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, the Preservation of Nature Hallam Lake, and the Aspen Center for Physics.
At the eastern end of Aspen is another residential area, as well as the Roaring Fork River and the Aspen Club and Spa. The Far East features more forests than in the West end, which has developed more. Among the West End and the East End is the heart of Aspen. Downtown is where most of the action. With old Victorian buildings, downtown Aspen with bars, restaurants, shops, and everything that you can possibly need - integrated into beautiful historic buildings.
Down the valley a ways, is in Snowmass Village. To the west, you can also find information Roaring Fork Valley. These two villages are completed Aspen, and you should take the time to visit them as well.
